About

I grew up in Beverly, Massachusetts and currently reside in Boston. I attend Massachusetts College of Art and Design as a junior, working towards my BFA in graphic design. Although my main focus is graphic design and typography, I have a passion for creating both in 2D and 3D media. I love to illustrate (both digitally and by hand), paint, collage with painted paper, and sculpt—especially with glass and ceramics.

The lettering featured in this piece was taken from a hand-written Christmas card from my Grampy. After scanning it into the computer, I vectorized the words. I illustrated a pair of angel wings in a painterly way in order to represent my Grampy's greatest love, the ocean. I placed his words on top. I printed this piece onto the backside of memorial cards (which I had also designed) and distributed them to all of the guests at his memorial service.
